जाति प्रमाण पत्र · Last updated · Verified by NeedUp operators

A caste certificate certifies that a person belongs to a Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Class and is needed for reservation in education, government jobs, scholarships and schemes. It is issued by the SDM, Tehsildar or district authority through the state e-District portal after verification. On NeedUp you upload Aadhaar, address proof, a family member's existing caste certificate (father or blood relative) and a self-declaration; the operator files the application and tracks it. The fee is approx ₹10–₹50 and issuance normally takes 15–30 days.
